Amanda Penrose comes from Melbourne, Australia, and although she does not have koalas, she does see the occasional kanagaroo, and a particularly friendly echidna affectionately known as Jethro.     Amanda has no formal art training but is addicted to creating for the internet; computer generated images and animations in particular. She is a formally trained musician and hopes to incorporate this into her computer work sometime soon.     In the real world, Amanda helps run a small ISP and hopes to spend the rest of her days designing graphics and writing html.
